Hi, I’m Berlyn Sharp
Berlyn Sharp is a 17-year-old from Vacaville balancing a life full of passion, purpose, and ambition. She is a Level 10 gymnast, a 3.9 GPA student, founder of Teens Off Screens, and the reigning Miss Teen West Coast International 2026. Growing up with a father in the Air Force and an entrepreneur mother taught her the importance of discipline, compassion, and resilience, values that continue to shape everything she does.
Service has always been at the center of Berlyn’s life. At just 12 years old, she became an Outreach Ambassador for Adopt a Grandparent while also founding Teens Off Screens, a platform focused on the impact of excessive screen use on young people and encouraging more meaningful real-life connections. Since then, she has remained deeply involved in community service, leadership, and advocacy efforts centered around youth and mental health.
In 2023, after losing her grandmother, Rose, Berlyn created Rose to Light, a platform inspired by her personal experience with grief and dedicated to mental health awareness, healing, and helping others feel less alone. Outside of gymnastics and pageantry, Berlyn is still very much a normal teenage girl, usually carrying an iced chai, listening to music nonstop, rewatching Gilmore Girls, quoting One Tree Hill, and finding joy in the little moments that make life meaningful..
The girl behind the crown…
Ask Berlyn what she’s watching, and she’ll probably say The Crown, Gilmore Girls, or The O.C.. She’ll tell you about her current skincare routine without being prompted, has opinions about flowers and aesthetics, and is very serious about finding the right song for every moment.
She’s funny in a dry, self-aware kind of way that instantly makes people comfortable, the kind of person who can balance ambition and authenticity without trying too hard. Beneath the titles and accomplishments, Berlyn is thoughtful, creative, and deeply intentional in how she moves through life and connects with people.
