Adopt a Grandparent Ambassador
At 12, Berlyn became an Outreach Ambassador — committing to weekly visits, garden projects, and holiday celebrations with seniors in memory care. She walks year after year in the Solano County Walk to End Alzheimer's in memory of her great-grandfather.

Teens Off Screens
Also at 12, Berlyn founded Teens Off Screens, a movement to address the health impacts of excessive screen use in young people. She built community resources, a pledge, and speaking content. As she's grown, her mission has evolved, but T.O.S. remains a testament to what she's capable of when she sees a gap and decides to fill it.

After losing her grandmother Rose in 2023, Berlyn spent time sitting with grief she didn't have words for, and then decided to do something about it. Rose to Light is her most personal platform, her most ambitious project, and the one she believes she was building toward all along.
